This policy explains our practices in plain language. It applies to anonymoussoulmates.com and the Anonymous Soulmates platform.

Our Privacy Philosophy

Anonymous Soulmates is built around a simple idea: members should get to know character and compatibility before personal identity becomes the focus. Privacy is part of the matchmaking process, not an afterthought. Sensitive personal information is protected by default and is shared only through the Mutual Reveal process when both people agree.

Information We Collect

Account Information

When you register, we collect your name, email address, and password credentials. Your legal name and contact details are never displayed on a My Heart Profile™.

Profile and Application Information

We collect the information you provide in your application and profile, including your description of your values, qualities, lifestyle, goals, and preferences. Matchmaking status, enrollment choices, and community participation are also recorded.

Communication Records

Messages between matched members are stored so conversations remain available to the participants. Messages are visible only to the matched members involved and to authorized administrators where needed for safety and support.

Verification Status

Identity & Age Verification for Private Matchmaking are handled by a dedicated verification provider. We receive confirmation that verification succeeded or failed. We do not receive or store government ID documents. Identity documents remain with the verification provider under its own security and retention practices.

Payment Information

Payments are processed by the active payment provider (for example Stripe, or a supported alternative such as Authorize.Net). We store provider-neutral billing records such as order, payment, and subscription status. We never store full card numbers or security codes.

Technical Information

We collect standard technical information such as log data and device information needed to operate and secure the platform. Where analytics are enabled, we use privacy-safe conversion events and do not send private member data to analytics services.

What Stays Private by Default

• Your legal name, familiar name where private, email, and phone number
• Your date of birth, exact address, and family information
• Your photos and verification documents
• Your internal member identifiers, admin notes, and payment details

Approved personal details can be shared only through Mutual Reveal, only with the matched member who agrees to the reveal, and only for fields the platform approves. You can decline a Mutual Reveal request at any time.

How We Use Information

• To operate Private Matchmaking, including match evaluation, New Potential Match Alerts, messaging, and Mutual Reveal
• To administer the Community and the Community Ambassador program, including referrals and approved commissions
• To verify identity and age through the verification provider
• To process payments and maintain billing records
• To provide support, enforce community standards, and handle safety reports
• To improve the platform while respecting member privacy

What We Do Not Do

• We do not sell your personal information.
• We do not display real member profiles, photos, or stories as public marketing content without explicit consent.
• We do not store government ID documents in our database.
• We do not expose private member data through public pages or public APIs.

Community Participation

The Anonymous Soulmates Exclusive WhatsApp Community operates through WhatsApp and is not anonymous by default. Depending on WhatsApp features, the member’s account, saved contacts, privacy settings, and the features available to that particular user, other participants may be able to see information such as a name, phone number, profile photo, username, or other WhatsApp account information. Where WhatsApp provides a username or another privacy feature to a member, that feature may provide additional phone number privacy. Anonymous Soulmates does not control WhatsApp’s features, rollout, settings, or privacy behavior and does not promise complete anonymity inside WhatsApp. Anonymous Soulmates Private Matchmaking privacy is separate: private matchmaking data is protected by the Mutual Reveal process described in this policy. Community enrollment information is used to place you in your chosen region and to administer the Community.

Data Security

We apply least-privilege access controls, server-side authorization checks, secure session handling, and protection for payment and member data. Administrative functions are restricted to authorized administrators. No system can promise perfect security, but we design ours so that sensitive data is protected by default and exposed only through approved processes.

Data Retention

We retain member records for as long as your account is active and as needed to operate the platform, satisfy legal obligations, and maintain billing and safety records. You may request deletion of your account; certain records, such as billing records and safety records, may be retained where required by law.

Your Rights and Choices

• You can set your matchmaking status to inactive or withdraw at any time.
• You can block another member at any time, which is enforced on both sides.
• You can decline any Mutual Reveal request without penalty.
• You can request a copy of your data or correction of inaccurate data.
• You can request account deletion subject to legal retention requirements.

Children

Anonymous Soulmates is for adults. Age verification is required for Private Matchmaking, and the platform is not intended for anyone under the minimum age required by our terms and applicable law.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Material changes will be communicated to members. The effective date below reflects the current version.
