Safety and Identity & Age Verification

Identity & Age Verification

Verification is required for Private Matchmaking and is included at no separate charge.

🔔 How It Works

Verification is handled by a dedicated verification provider using government ID. The platform receives confirmation of successful verification, not your documents.

🔒 What We Never Store

Government ID documents are never stored in the Anonymous Soulmates database. They remain with the verification provider under its own security and retention practices.

✓ What Verification Means

Verification strengthens trust across the community. It helps confirm that members are who they say they are and that age requirements are met.

Safety Tools Available to Every Member

🚫 Blocking

Members can block another member at any time. Blocking is enforced on both sides, including messaging and Mutual Reveal.

⚑ Reporting

Safety reports can be submitted at any time and are reviewed by administrators. Reports are handled with discretion.

💬 Private Communication

Messaging works only between matched members with active status, inside the platform, where protections apply.

♡ Controlled Disclosure

Personal details are shared only through approved Mutual Reveal, and only when both people agree.

Safety Practices We Encourage

Practical habits for building trust at a healthy pace.

  • Take your time. There is no deadline for getting to know someone well.
  • Keep personal details such as your address, workplace, and financial information private until you have built real trust.
  • Use Mutual Reveal deliberately. Declining a reveal request is always acceptable.
  • Meet in public places when the time comes, and tell someone you trust where you will be.
  • Trust your instincts. If something feels wrong, use blocking and reporting.
  • Never send money or financial information to anyone you meet online, no matter the reason.
